I almost bought the 737-900ER until I read about how I must pay an activation fee everytime I reinstall it. Upgrade you PC, pay for activation. Buy a bigger harddrive, pay for activation. I have the Level-D 767-300ER and love it. There is a ton of support from the devs and from other users on the Level-D forum and no activation fee.
