Details: Hijackers ordered the pilot to take them to Australia and refused to heed warnings about the 767 range and fuel load.. this is what happened when they ran out of fuel.

In particular information here suggests it was one of the hijackers flying which is not true. Both pilots were at the controls when the plane hit.

Details According to "I-Witness Video", the aircraft was hijacked after the terrorists entered the cockpit, assaulted the crew and hauled them out of the cockpit. Then, one terrorist flew the craft for a time until running out of fuel. he then dead-sticked the aircraft into the Indian Ocean just off the Comoros islands. It's a miracle that many people survived, if any.
