FSBuild 2

Following on from his highly successful freeware Flight Planning Software, FSBuild v1, Ernie Alston has created the outstanding Payware Flight Planner FSBuild v2.

FSBuild 2 is compatible with the following Simulators :

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004 , X-Plane, FLY 2 , PS 1.3 , and the most popular add on software titles for these simulators including 767 PIC, PMDG 737 NG, PSS products, FSNav and Radar Contact.

FSBuild has a nice Graphic User Interface, and has a map display in which you can see your route.

Planning a Flight is easy, with a comprehensive database of Airways, VORs, NDBs, and Intersections all displayable on the Map.

A large selection of performance files for various aircraft are included that allow for accurate fuel burn for your flights to be calculated. Custom performance files exist for both the PIC767 and the PMDG 737 titles.

As well as this, FSBuild 2 is compatible with ActiveSky WXRE, ActiveSky 2004 and FSMeteo for the improting of winds aloft data into the flightplan. By importing winds aloft data you increase the level of realism further.

Another nice feature of FSbuild 2 is the ability to save flightplans in various formats. These include the MS .pln format, PIC 767 and PMDG 737 format flightplans.

When your planning is complete you can export a realistic looking Navlog to either Windows Notepad or to Acrobat Reader in PDF format for printing.

Finally, I really like FSBuild 2 and think it represents excellent value for money. More details on it can be found at www.fsbuild.com
